You’ve
sailed across the ocean far, far away from land; the land which grows wild
flowers.
Oh! The splashing
of the waters still ringing in my ears.
Bringing
back the tune of our long lost love which I once cherished;
a tune
from those forgotten days.
You the
Lord of the sea; knew all heights and depths.
Saw a
world of waters which I could only imagine.
I stood
between those wild flowers covering my feet under dry sand of the coast;
Waiting for you to flush me with sweet salt
waves.
At night
I light up the lamp;
A light
those flies of dark bewitched.
Yet Thy
eyes together that saw only a stone’s throw, were fixed upon far,
Far on a burning luminescent star.
I prayed
for a tragedy, for love only wishes terrible fantasies.
A disabled
heart and a burning spirit salvaged.
With those
jewels elevated,
Into the
wilderness I rushed.
Neptune the
star of the sea, who’s light, is heard far beyond the sea; Sheds its grace on
weary seamen souls.
Reminds me
the eyes of our unborn child; carried away by the waves on a moonless night.
I stare
at the deep down ocean wishing to see your faded face.
Often I left
with nothing but the sound of the whales.
Yet I stare;
stare until I vanish in to the air.
For everything
I once held dear; are now all in the waters forever.
